An informal online meeting for our member schools, that will provide an opportunity to discuss topics relating to religious education within the senior school age range, share ideas and make connections.
Dr Kathryn Wright is the Chief Executive of Culham St Gabriel’s Trust, an endowed charitable foundation which champions religion and worldviews education. She taught RE in East London for several years, before becoming a local authority adviser. In 2005, she became a freelance consultant working with dioceses, universities, local authorities, and organisations to support curriculum and pedagogical development in the subject. She has been an RE Quality Mark assessor and Section 48 inspector. She is currently on the Board of the RE Council of England and Wales and sits as an observer on the NATRE and AULRE executives. Her doctoral research explored themes of hospitality and pedagogy in relation to RE in Church of England schools. She has written extensively, including a chapter on developing religious literacy in Mentoring religious education in the secondary school (ed. H Sheehan, 2023)
