Dylan Wiliam recognises, “ If we create a culture where every teacher believes they need to improve, not because they are not good enough but because they can be even better, there is no limit to what we can achieve.”
During this one day course we will look at how by adopting a coaching culture in your School allows all teachers an opportunity to improve their performance, making teaching appraisal and performance management more meaningful and one around school improvement.
We will explore the key differences between coaching and mentoring, knowing which one to use and when, with greater impact. We will learn about different coaching models that we can use with our colleagues to develop and enhance our teams and so improve teaching and learning in our Schools.
